Volcom Holding experts have integrated the branches into a single access network and transferred the server equipment to the new system. Proprietary software was developed specially for the project.
The contract envisaged the installation of two turnstiles at the main entrance of the facility; a network access control system (NACS) for visitors and employees on the turnstiles at the main entrance of the building along with the establishment of an autonomous guard workstation with remote access capability; a security alarm system (SA) in the server room; NACS on the server room entrance door. The supplied software should allow considering the working hours of employees and visitor control. The suggested solution should become the core of a modern dispatching unified software and hardware complex controlled by one or several PCs.
The complex provides full integration of NACS, SA, CCTV system, as well as life support systems and CPE services. Scalability is another feature of the project: we have envisaged the possibility of building up and functional expansion.
